       Watching "Ed Gein" on Netflix, worried it's yet another template horror film - but then ep.2 goes full speed Psycho-delic.We're suddenly with Hitchcock directing Anthony Perkins but in the actual Gein house, Perkins facing his own abusive mother and chemical castration - the entire shower scene remade shot for shot - Hitchcock peeping tom alongside Gein ... and 'Ilsa She Wolf of the SS' - if you're an old film lecturer like me, this old school weirdness is so very canny of the genre. #movies
