       Listening to Bronski Beat's song "Small Town Boy" and the way it affected my generation of gay/MLM dudes.Not so much about the yearning for a larger city etc - but how it framed our existence as one of drama or sadness.Its not that its a bad tune, its just an expression of how - in our youth - our existence was a tragedy to be overcome.At the peak of the AIDS crisis, if you where old enough to get horny, but too young to explain why the boys had your attention - coming out wasn't an option.

       Or rather it WAS, it was the only option, it just didn't work the same way.
