@EscapeVelo Yesterday a cut up a roast and smoked it as several smaller pieces to both reduce the time as well as to experiment with a burnt ends approach I'd never done. After the main smoke I cut up one of the pieces and made saucy burnt ends by wet coating the 1.5" cubes with a bbq sauce sprinkled with a touch of brown sugar. The other pieces were sliced thin for sandwiches. Really good. We're going to make a chicken Mexican casserole tomorrow, using smoked whole chicken

Way too complicated. I made Soft Pretzels with mixture of bleached and heritage grain flours, basted with bacon grease not butter, and am listening to Oktoberfest music while enjoying appropriate brews with a few chunks of cheeses and smoked sausages. Got enough to do same tomorrow.

@VizzinisGuess @EscapeVelo Sounds good. Smoking sounds too complicated but it's actually really easy if you have one with electronic controls. Season overnight, throw in smoker next day, probe measures temp automatically, when it's ready you do your thing
