I will never understand why people love Apple products so much. The hoops to stop Apple Music from popping up when you don't want it, is infuriating. Demonstrating just how much you pay so much more money for hardware you don't really own.Thankfully this isn't my money, but what a waste. When I buy something, I need to actually own it.

@SusanPotter first thing i do when getting new hardware (seccond hand devices refurbished from a local shop here in my region so mostly 10+ years old) is to deinstall all proprietary crap and slap on debian. And than i use that thibg 10+ years again xD. Works all the time and with ssd and 16gb+ ram i dont even get all this ram full.

Of course, Apple now shows who they are inside. A corporation that sycophantically bows to wannabee dictators...https://www.cnn.com/2025/10/03/tech/iceblock-apple-removed-trumpThe banned apps share only the location of sightings of *masked* people saying they are federal agents, most of which refuse to show law enforcement identification. This is a public safety concern. Sharing sightings of masked people who refuse to identify themselves is protected by freedom of speech.
