What constitutes the bad moderation at #bluesky?For me it's tough because wanting a diversity of perspectives also requires making it as easy as possible to find a place with different policies while not losing your connections, and never having stuff pushed on you via algos etc.I can't say I understand their situation very well but I'm conflicted. I'm upset they don't do decentralization well yet I'm probably with them at being annoyed at being told to censor more. IDK

@wjmaggos they're not just told to censor more though, they've being accused of having been very eager to censor on behalf of one part of the political spectrum while resisting similar requests from the other

@ikuturso AFAIK they were censoring expressions of meh+ at Kirk's death, but then backed off on that.Otherwise my understanding is some want them to not allow anti trans views. anything else?what I've seen is that mean replies towards conservatives is much more allowed there than towards progressives. Or maybe the latter just never happens. that would probably be true here too except conservatives are mostly kept from interacting with most people here.

@wjmaggos I don't know if they really backed off... They came out saying they are going to be more strictly moderating in the future.
