I know what the 12V on the mystery connector is now, it's from the ignition!cue motorcycle blowing the ignition fuse after taking a right onto the four lane road with no service lane. good thing there's spares in the fuse box because otherwise I would've been even more fucked.anyways, made it home safe, though not thanks to the Mercedes driver who got up my butt and honked the horn at me despite me driving with hazards on when the right lane was completely empty.

the +3 HP, - 2 reliability sticker is really doing some heavy lifting there.though this episode is entirely on me and the fact that there's no wiring diagram for my motorcycle that matches with reality.

alright, fixed my cable fucko with a new faston to sumitomo mt090 adapter bodge and a lot of electrical tape. this has to do until the six-pin sumitomo plug arrives (and i can make a proper cable then)anyways, replaced the spare fuse too, so i'm good to go for the next adventure. maybe tomorrow.
