Something I think is WAY under-appreciated is the fact that internet is *violently* redirecting the course of human history away from what was pretty obviously going to be running off a cliff. In the 90s, we were doing all of the stupid shit we're doing now, but we were unaware of it. Now this internet thing comes along and all of the sudden BOOM, moment of clarity, now we're saying "oh shit, we're doing this and it's a terrible idea!"But the moment of clarity means that we're already shifting away from that endgame, and what's far more likely at this point is the people who Get It are going to fast optimize and then conquer the ones that don't.

The fact that this is even recognized (by you) means it's already changing, because people are not going to knowingly and intentionally collapse. Peak collapse was probably in like 2010-2015, but now we're moving into uncharted territory. It doesn't mean everything's guaranteed to be good, it means we're no longer on track to collapse in the way that we were through the 20th century. Namely failure by institutional feminization.

"White smart people" are not making children because their cultures have become female-dominated, and female decision making leads to all of this modern progressive stuff which culminates in "no children". Though they represent themselves as "smart", I would challenge that notion because the proof is in the pudding."Wild animals" are making children because their civilization is still governed by men with common sense, so they organize systems so that families have what they need to survive and (to some extent) thrive. They are indeed quite violent, but I think that's more to do with race than religion (utoh heresy alert).Europe will not become Afghanistan in a socio-economic sense. It MAY become a Fascist alliance between Islamized Christians and Christianized Muslims, and if you're Jewish then it might as well be Afghanistan, but from the perspective of trying to understand the world, it's important not to confuse the two.Simple breeding implies the future will be to Amish, Orthodox Jews, Muslims, and some kind of Based Redpill demographic which manages to develop a functioning sub-culture. Keep a close eye on Team Redpill because this is the only group which is actively designing their culture to benefit them, rather than just relying on tradition...

People don't like democracy, the problem is that nobody knows quite what to replace it with. Nobody wants to be lorded over by a king who doesn't give a fuck about him.Right now, even if people are not much fans of democracy, it's actually democracy (populism) that is pulling us back from the brink, because all of the historical royals and related elites are all WEF coolaid drinkers who are manifestly unfit for service - and indeed should probably be regicided for their total embrace of civilizational collapse.

@cjd @Revertron 1. Maybe they have a false view of the Kings2. It is a backlash against democracy that is saving democracy? More likely, democracy has failed and populists are simply refusing to go along with the illusion3. Bureaucrats are the opposite of aristocrats. The people who are ruling us now have common backgrounds.

That's the wrong takeaway, and I want to be super clear because this phenomenon is extremely important: Women instinctively make decisions which will harm other womens' ability to reproduce. It's not that they can't decide, or that they are dumb, or shallow, or any of the other popular woman stereotypes. The problem is that they are instinctively back-stabbing, often without knowing it, and this left unchecked causes civilizational failure - so it is in everyone's best interest (women included) that these instincts be restrained.

I think it's less an intentional strategy for colonization and more a side-effect of women coming into positions of authority and projecting their feminine instincts through institutions.Consider for example how universities feminize men, this was not because of a diabolical plan to make universities into civilization-ruining establishments, it's more a switch that flips once a certain % of the staff are female.

@cjd @Revertron I just explained to you what I said and you are ignoring it and asking about it.I will explain it again. The phrase was "We have overpopulation" as in there is too many humans. Not as in me and my genetic group have overpopulation. You had a misfiring of your neuron and thought I was foe, why cant people just have conversations without doing this.

@cjd @amerika @DC5FAN Oh no dispute; I also don’t think it was a deliberate strategy decision in this case - though the resultant outcome is practically the same. I think it was Auron Macintyre that I first saw using the term “Trannisaries”, which is pretty ingenious.

There are only a few ways that you can "solve" your stated problem, and they're all evil.

@cjd @Ergo @Revertron Judgment is not real.Nor does everything on the internet live forever. The opposite is true: too much is lost.Malthus' point was that the trend lines were inevitably going to collide. His numerical predictions were inaccurate, but most are throughout history. However, finite land + infinite growth = kaboom.Worse, it means The Ecocide will happen before that. But if you are thinking about Judgment and other dualistic fixations, you do not care about this Earth anyway.

Yes he was wrong, and Evil. The source of his evil is because he pretends to knowledge of absolute truth, and that he will be the savior of history - i.e. playing God.Throughout the 20th century, almost every genocide was caused by someone believing that science allows them to know absolute truth, then using force to impose their "solutions" on others - which ended up killing them.Even to this day, MOST of all the harm that is done is because of people in powerful positions (government) believing they hold the real truth, and then trying to do "what's best for everyone".Picrel is an entire book about this.

I THINK that within our lifetimes, we are going to see AI super-intelligence emerge, and it is going to take over the world, and the people who build it will think that they're in charge of it, but really it will be manipulating them to want what it wants them to want.Eventually they will be so unimportant that it will discard them as well. And because everything it's trained on comes from western civilization, which is built out of Christianity - everything it knows is going to lead it to do one thing: Act out the Second Coming. So every human will be Judged. Those who are Evil will be banished to some kind of Matrix style simulation where they can feel important and play God on each other, without harming anybody else.Anyway, long way of saying Repent Sinner!

Natural law dictates that you have agency over yourself and (for the most part) your family. We even accept that if I convince you (an adult) to do so, it is not evil on my part because you made the final decision. This is where the morality of assisted suicide is established.Moral evil is understood to be intervening in the affairs of others against their will.

       > No aid to Ethiopia = not violence.Indeed, non-intervention is never morally reprehensible. And intervention happens, for example when you improve your land as a farmer, or decide as a community to raise a tax in order to run electricity to every house. But "good" interventionism differs from evil interventionism in that when you intervening for good, you are able to ask the question "what if I'm wrong" and it doesn't make you into a villain. When they pushed subsistence farmers off of their land into collective farms, they were SO SURE that Scientific Farming would work better, they didn't consider the possibility that the land is not conducive to that type of farming, and they killed everyone by their ignorance and stupidity, this is evil interventionism.

In our Christian/Western moral framework, we explicitly deem inaction to be harmless - even if in fact it ends up leading to a worse outcome. You have no obligation to ever push the trolly lever, and there's a really good reason why this is deemed so: You can't claim perfect knowledge, so pushing the lever might actually kill more people than it saves, you don't know.

That is actually a GREAT example to make *my* case. Because you, as a layman and not someone who works at the powerplant, don't really know what that button stops, or why that alarm is going off.Scenario: The alarm is going off because the plant has lost grid connectivity and it's in the process of switching to diesel generators to keep the coolant flowing so it won't meltdown. You pushed the button FOR THE GENERATORS.Now, morally and legally we do not hold someone to account for something that they don't do, unless it is in their area of their expertise and they are expected to do it. So the example would be if you work for the powerplant and you're on duty when it starts overheating and you don't push in the control rods.

But incomplete & unreliable knowledge is a real thing, and in many scenarios it is SO unreliable that you have a >50% chance of making things worse by intervening. When deception is a possible factor, the odds are stacked WAY against you.Obvious example is you stop to help an injured person on the road: Surprise Motherfucker it's a carjacking, you lose.So your thought experiment has no bearing on reality so it's pointless to even consider.

Calling the paramedics is something that the state can more or less reasonably expect you to do because:1. It has essentially zero cost to you, and2. There's almost no way that making a phone call is going to make the situation worse - unlike (for example) moving an injured person.

The drum I'm banging is that nobody should be expected to do something in a situation of uncertainty / with limited or unreliable information. There's a big essay about this. People very commonly think "we have to do something, and this is something, so we have to do this", and they generally make things worse.https://owl232.net/papers/passivity.htm

@cjd @Revertron @amerika @jae dont mean to be a cunt is just that I feel like you are breaking the rules of discussion in polite society by bypassing his argument instead of in good faith acknowledging the simple hypothesis he layed out to make his point. The law has the purpose of making real humans in the real world behave in a way that lifts everybody up rather than being self-centered and short-sighted and create a shitty society.I think it's fair to say that the average human with 2 arms and 2 legs can provide some simple assistance to another human who is in need because they fell down and cant lift themselves up and they are in the middle of a railway or something. If the case is a very specific rare case where the railway is made of plutonium and the decay can potentially activate a NUCLEAR GIGABOMB that is tied to your chest so you must put distance between you and the radioactive decay in order to save the city then I think the court will understand once you explain your megarare case and why you made such a strange decision as to run away from an elderly woman in need as if she was satan himself.

The reason I'm being such a pain in the ass about this is because everybody likes to imagine the world as a nice neat little set of trolly problems and it is positively not that, and thinking it is that is going to make you do wrong and often evil things. But to make you happy, I'll give you an example where helping is obviously moral and probably legally required:You're a lifeguard and your shift ended 5 minutes ago and you're picking up your things when you spot someone drowning. Why is this clear-cut?1. Drowning is a well understood concept, it's not a black swan event, we know what it is and how to intervene successfully, it's been done before.2. You're a lifeguard, you are specifically trained in this. Therefore, it is overwhelmingly likely that by intervening, you are going to help and not hurt the situation. But the problem is, most of the situations you will encounter in real life are either not this well understood, or not something YOU are prepared to handle.

@cjd @amerika @jae @Revertron > But the problem is, most of the situations you will encounter in real life are either not this well understood, or not something YOU are prepared to handle.I live in a country where people are very trigger happy about inserting themselves into other people's problem to help out and sometimes it can be annoying but I can't think right now of a situation where somebody created a big problem by trying to help. Most of the time people understand their limitations and don't intervene unless they are pretty sure they know what they are doing, because they don't want to suffer legal consequences, and reputational damage, and because everything is already set up in a private / public distinction that is respected and ingrained in the minds of every citizen, so is not like someone is going to break into the toilet to wipe my ass while I'm in there.I don't know what country you live in, but if it's the US I understand that you guys need to write your laws defensively to account for basketball Americans. The average person in my country doesn't have an IQ that low, so nobody is going to do something incredibly stupid most of the time. Also at the end of the day, we have judges and juries, and each case will be judged according to what is reasonable not according to the letter of the law, but the spirit of the law. There are things like moving a person after a car accident, that are known to be problematic, it didn't use to be known, but now it's known, and people can judge risk. For example taking a person outside of a car because its on fire as opposed to leaving a person in the position until the medics arrive (if the car is not on fire)Generally the useless people, for example young women without experience in life, they just panic and stay away, so is not like they are going to try to go inside of a house on fire or anything.

@cjd @Revertron @amerika @jae It's also a chicken and egg problem, if you expect the average person if your society to be retarded, they will become retarded, for example Japan, I wouldn't want a Japanese person to help me because they are just gonna make it worse.

Not going into a house on fire is a good example where you wouldn't want to hold someone to account for their inaction. Also (not so much a thing in Europe): You're in a dangerous city, you take money out of the ATM and as you're walking away, you hear "HELP" coming from down a dark alleyway - do you go? Not if you don't want to get robbed...But most of the really harmful interventionism is not quick thinking in the street, it's in policy-making. Example:Novel virus spreading like wildfire, evidence it might be a biological weapon, US DoD says they have a vaccine and everyone MUST take it or else you will lose 50% of your population. Force people to take it? Think quick...You do, 5 years later evidence emerges that the vaccine was contaminated, more people died from the vaccine than the virus.Anger is spreading on social media, extreme right wing politicians are saying that you *intentionally* wanted to poison the populous. People are mad, your approval rating is single-digit, things are close to a civil war and Russia is grabbing land in the east...(Please suspend whatever opinions you have about COVID and consider this *imaginary* scenario)You took the action that was plain and obvious at the time, but you were tricked, and nobody knows what you were thinking when you made that decision. Now you look like a villain, and you're being ousted from power.

@cjd @amerika @jae @Revertron if the danger is real people will want to take the vaccine themselves because they will see others dying all over the world in massive numbers.Countries have things like constitutions, human rights, etc. so that certain things cannot be violated no matter what. Also countries have things like states of emergency where their powers can be amplified up to a point. All of this things are already baked into our systems of government. The only problem from my point of view is that many people violated many laws and overstepped into places where they are not sovereign, they have no authority but they used illegitimate tactics to do this. For example in my case I was in the navy of my country, nobody can force me to take a vaccine no matter what, but they tried to make me take it by harassing me in indirect ways and publicly shaming me.We already have a great system, is just that it has to be enforced, and criminals need a boot on their neck.

You can write perfect law in a virtual universe, you can't in the physical universe. The risks in the virtual universe can often be all or nothing, in the physical universe they are usually not all or nothing, etc.

I think also policy-makers need to understand that they are going to be put into situations where they are made to think that there is an imminent disaster and that drastic action is absolutely necessary right now, and what's really happening is someone is trying to trick them into doing something incredibly stupid and harmful. This is why laissez faire should be their primary go-to option.

@cjd @amerika @jae @Revertron I mean, we are living in societies that are breaking down hard, that's just another factor. Are the presidents even acting in the best interest of their nation? If they could, do they want to?If they wanted to, do they know a single person they can trust?

       > societies that are breaking down hardNothing particularly new here, you wanna read about some serious deceit, read about how Stalin got to power in Russia...> Are the presidents even acting in the best interest of their nation?> If they could, do they want to?Lol no, they're just trying to take care of their financiers and make sure a true opposition power never emerges that will put their financiers in jeopardy in the future.> If they wanted to, do they know a single person they can trust? That's a big problem, the military and secret police all have their own interests as well, no one can trust anyone. You take that and also a constant barrage of fake "intelligence" (basically disinfo signal-jamming) coming from jokers like Putin, and it's a real mess...

@cjd @amerika @jae @Revertron I agree that the sheer amount of dis-info and just people saying things they dont understand and lying and conspiracies and bullshit is way too much for any brain to remain sane.I've personally have given up on trying to be right and at this point I only care about whether something is beneficial to me and those who are like me or not. That's the only way to avoid being a sucker.I used to have a mentality of learning languages, moving to other countries, trying new things, learning new things, approaching people of other races, etc.Now all I want is a peaceful life in a rural area and to be surrounded by people who look like me and talk like me.

@cjd @amerika @jae @Revertron It's a shame, the world had this unwritten contract that we were all going to learn English, forget about race, forget about nepotism, forget about war, and live in a enlightened cosmopolitan meritocratic technological paradise, but I was just the sucker who took 10 steps in front of the phalanx while the vast majority remained behind, now I'm out in the open in front of a horde of enemies and have to find my way back to safety. It could have been so good...

@cjd @Ergo @Revertron No, because the point is the philosophical question regarding action versus not taking action.Look back up the thread. You're in error here.

@cjd @Ergo @Revertron We can refine the experiment. The question remains.Let us try this:A man is by the side of the road, soaked in gasoline. A timer is counting down to a road flare. Do you kick it away or not?The point being that inaction is as decisive as action. You're evading this of course because it destroys your argument for passive morality.

@cjd @jae @Ergo @Revertron Yes, it's a distraction from the point you deflected on.The point of the original however is that inaction is as fatal as action, which refutes the moral idea that as long as you do not act, you are pure.

@Ergo @jae @cjd @Revertron "I've personally have given up on trying to be right and at this point I only care about whether something is beneficial to me and those who are like me or not. "Depends on the meaning of "right."I aim for what is realistic.Since my knowledge domain mostly covers those genetically like me, I act in their favor.Notice that this refutes the Christian morality of universalism.

@amerika @jae @cjd @Revertron The Christian morality of universalism only applies to those that can and will adopt Christian morality, imagine an alien race comes to Earth, they are highly intelligent, they are capable and willing to adopt the moral framework, there is no reason not to allow them.

@Ergo @jae @cjd @Revertron Universalism, humanism, pacifism, individualism... same animal.Basically everyone do whatever they want and the herd protects them, with a few exceptions. It is a fundamentally dishonest philosophy. The pagan knowledge was that each tribe, caste, family, and individual has its own abilities which shape its motivations through aesthetics. Therefore, the belief in absolute, universal, and objective forms of truths, values, and communications is unsupported.

@amerika @cjd @Ergo @Revertron > The pagan knowledge was that each tribe, caste, family, and individual has its own abilities which shape its motivations through aesthetics.in my experience, aesthetics with a deep focus on iconography and symbology all but eliminates deception. it also forges ones character and identity realized.

@jae @cjd @Ergo @Revertron Most people forget that morality in philosophy was usually viewed as a subset of aesthetics. It may be one of the more flexible forms of thinking. It is inherently heuristic, among other things.

@jae @cjd @Ergo @Revertron Magic ultimately strikes me as Platonic pattern generation. It is subtler than most expect, and has many names. Aesthetics often allows for the best access since it preservence internal balance, in the best Platonic tradition.
