@kpeace Of course! Durov is not Jesus, so he will of course do what he can to get out of jail. After he's out though, and in a safe jurisdiction, that will be the moment of truth. Will he play ball, to keep his 1 billion user empire, or will he be angry, and retaliate by making it more anonymous and secure? Or will he start a new project as a separate legal entity? Time will tell, I'm sure.

@h4890I think that as it becomes easier to use and as it adds more functions (DM's, private group chat) more non crypto dudes will join.

@amerika Like I said, censorship, suppression of journalism, attacking free speech, can happen in any gov.A multi faceted gov has more breaks and balances so that these things can be stopped. But that works only if the people believe in freedom

You can always ask if they are working on a web implementation / see if there is a way to run the flutter app in your browser.
