@bunni Don't get me wrong, Im not agreeing with fascism or US rightist policy. I just don't think people throwing around fascism as a label is helping. The same has been done with other bad descriptors and has just resulted in diluting the meaning (Me getting called a racist for playing the asian riff (think chinese) in an asian song, that contains that set of notes)I am strictly against fascism, and most autocratic regimes. I don't take issue with people calling out weirdly rightist moves, but calling them fascist without good grounds draws my attention to it, and makes me less likely to turn my attention to it in the futureI hope this makes sense

The average American has infinitely more freedom than the average axis citizen. Sure, they're trying to control the narrative, but that's nothing new with politics.Again, I am not justifying American imperialism, its just that as someone who comes from a family that has a history with human rights violations in WW2, I don't think we've seen much comparable yet.
