A sign of age...Saying "a broken clock is correct twice a day" to someone young who has only told time with digital clocks and having to explain the hour and minute hands - including an explanation for "Why are they called hands?" and "But isn't a regular (digital) clock easier to understand quickly and more accurately?"What made it worse was I, the old hippie, was using the broken clock saying to explain an accidental "good" action by an extreme right government official, and then had to defend that official and his accidental good decision. Ugh, I need another mug of chai...#OldManYellsAtClock

@simplenomad A broken digital clock is still correct twice a day, but only if itโs in 12-hour display mode and still on ๐

@simplenomad Even better that's one of the cognitive tests for Alzheimers, asking a patient to draw a clock with a given time on it.
