I should mention that I found that Shroud of Turin video Tucker did very convincing. I had no idea the carbon dating debunking it as a medieval forgery was done on a cotton-linen blend patch, not the original artifact.

@judgedread The proofs for the shroud always have similar hangups. “oh they were using an experimental first time method that has never passed peer review, but it PROVES the shroud is real.”Also, if it was truly an image imprinted from cloth wrapped around you, it would look like the attachment.So if the explanation for why it doesn’t look like the attachment is “well it’s Jesus magic mkay” and that explanation works for people, then I don’t know how to argue with that.

@okayyeahwhatever lol That pic.I guess they need to explain why the linen was placed under and above the body like a bedsheet rather than wrapped like a burrito.

@judgedread @okayyeahwhatever It has been explained, apparently that was the custom at the time. I think it was in that same Tucker video but I may be wrong as I've now watched a few on the matter. It's pretty fascinating.
