@fkq1q2r2 I got wacked a few years back. It's not fun looking it took me 3-4 months to find one I was looking for. No matter how annoying agencies / head hunters are keep them in mind. Watch the agreement contracts if they have any before deciding if you are going to proceed with them.

@MSP_SMIMSA meh, we worked a hybrid with three days in-office two days remote. during the worst of COVID we were two weeks remote one week in-office as we were an essential manufacturer in Illinois. @fkq1q2r2

@scottdhansen @MSP_SMIMSA I am a bit concerned about the drive to the office aspect as I'm in a smaller city dominated by the city and one employer. I'm sure I'll land on my feet.

@fkq1q2r2 I drove in office for 25 years before hybrid was a thing. The commute ranged from 20-40 minutes one way. I may be strange but I prefer some time in the office vs full remote. @MSP_SMIMSA

@scottdhansen @fkq1q2r2 It's 16 years, I liked being in the office.Enjoyed my coworkers.2018 got a new job.Loathed the coworkers.Covid lockdowns were a gift.I agree. In my current role, I am fully remote but would like to see many coworkers in person and participate in some formal and informal meetings.

@fkq1q2r2 @MSP_SMIMSA @scottdhansen This may sound harsh but I have no sympathy for anyone that drives an hour or more to work everyday unless its for a short limited time (temporary situation). Otherwise, live close to where you work. If you don't like the job enough to move, then be looking for another one that is either fully remote or close to you.I'm 100% with the "get these bastards back to the office" especially if they are government workers!
