@GrungeQueef @Whitewall_Blasphemy It's my opinion that the matrilineal passing on of Judiasm was an adaptation to take over family lineages with their demon worshipping culture.

@grey @GrungeQueef @Whitewall_Blasphemy It also guarantees that one parent is jewish. Patrilineally, the husband could be cucked and wife has someone else's bastard child.

They changed it to Windsor during WW1 to sound more English. Before that they were the house of saxe-coburg-gotha (apparently Kaiser Wilhelm liked to take the piss out of them for that). They ended up with that surname because that was prince-alfred's name before he married queen Victoria. She belonged to the house of Hannover (another German house). The last time the English had an anglo-saxon king was Harold Godwinson. After that it was all a mix of Norman-French, Welsh and Germans.

There was a period during the 16th-19th century where every country had to have a German king for some reason. Even Greece ended up with one at one point.Pretty much all of them were philosemites.

@Eiregoat @GrungeQueef @Whitewall_Blasphemy @grey Henry I married Matilda of Scotland, daughter of Malcolm III of Scotland and the Last Anglo Saxon princess, Margaret of Wessex. So the anglo saxon line did kind of continue into the Plantagenets via the Empress Matilda and her issue

I mean... I'm sure plenty of the royal houses had at least *some* anglo-saxon heritage, it'd be hard not to.As a dynasty the plantaganets were originally from Anjou though.

It was also because Germany had an easily accessible stock of nobles from both catholic and protestant families, so no matter which one your country was trying to be you could fill a gap.For example in England the nobles all tended to be catholic, but parliament at the time was dominated by protestants, so they quasi-legally imported a guy from the recently independent Netherlands to fill the role.

@Eiregoat @GrungeQueef @Whitewall_Blasphemy @grey There really weren't many of the saxon royal line left after the chaos of the 11th century from Aethelread to William's Conquest. Some did flee to Constantinople and one of them did join the first crusade, fighting alongside Robert Curthose, the conqueror's eldest son. Strange bedfellows, lol.The Wessex bloodline of Margaret and Malcolm did hold the Scottish throne through to the late 13th century and the empty throne on their passing became the cause of Edward Longshanks northern campaigns.
