@Nonilex I wish our country had an explicit policy (law) that said that we will offer assistance and supplies with no political or economic strings attached to any country that has had a disaster such as this landslide or the Afghan earthquake. (And I might add, the genocide [at least I think it is] in Gaza.)(I recognize the difficulty when there is a risk that a government or de-facto authority will usurp the aid for its own purposes.)
