@mushroom_soup I looked into one of the studies, it appears that the cancer risk is due to improper hygiene when you read between the lines. (Risk only for those with phimosis, which itself can be caused by bad hygiene). We probably just need a Public Service Announcement telling people to bathe properly rather than a surgery.

They are trained to hate foreskin.Same thing with ob/gyn doctors always want to go straight for c-section.It's fucking weird, and adds to my distrust of doctors. It's like they are programmed to believe these things, and no amount of evidence will change their minds.

Phimosis is not a massive problem among pure races. In the Middle East where Asians, Africans and Europeans came together, lots of race mixing happened, and phimosis (extremely painful) occurred way more often than normal. They decided to just cut off some skin after birth and make it part of their religion. There are many other negative aspects regarding race mixing nobody talks about. God is no quack.

This is the fuckery of circumcision.Most of the people who vocally oppose it treat it like it's some kind of castration of the soul or something. And MOST cut guys are perfectly happy with themselves and know intrinsically that that's bullshit. So the question of whether it's good or bad ends in stalemate.The metaphor people should use is running in front of a train - usually it's fine but when it's not, it's not. So even if you were circumcised perfectly, it's still not wise to take that risk again with your son.
