I was looking at the recent BcacheFS stuff and I noticed that "Externally Maintained" literally doesn't exist in the maintainer documentation, every other term is explained in a key at the top of the maintainer list

@Linux There are many problems, but I don't think anyone actually knows what "externally maintained" is supposed to mean

@BrodieOnLinux I don't even understand why there is a debate about File systems ðŸ˜. But other than that, what did Bcachefs offer that Btrfs or ext3 didn't offer?
