       making progress. Arguably don't have a huge collection and I have done an inventory of some of this stuff more recently, but it was a general inventory of things i have, not a more detailed ones of parts and components. (note I plan to cut out a paper divider for the batteries)

       Made good progress on the tools side, need to work more on the components and materials side. I am not sure what some of this stuff does, but I mean, certainly I could make something cool with it all, right? Some things include, solder, num pad, screens, battery holders, buttons, solar panels, etc.

       Also considering making assets specific items whereas parts is a general grouping of items by its type, like an assortment of wire by gauge that might not be brand specific and will need to be replenishedAnother tricky factor is the matter of cables, power sources, etc. that are in use, so I have to assume for common objects the quantity may be higher than I realize, or completely underrepresented because I'm using them and don't think about the fact they are a distinct part (until I have to go and replace it, of course).

       Going to keep a set of stuff for my “repair cafe” go bagAlso, I must say, I’ve gotten a lot of use out of my iFixIt kits. I got them in a conference swag bag and that is hands down the best item. That and a set of jewelry pliers from my own childhood. I use those a ton.
