Mio is doing much better than last year, but since I see that she will be needing every vote she can get to qualify, it's time for me to make my case for the Xenoblade 3 Catgirl. Now, my gargantuan Xenoblade 3 Writeup does go over both XB3's story and Mio's critical role in it in great detail, but it also does include much shorter summaries of the main party members, among them Mio:>This Agnian off-seer is ferocious in battle, but as a character she might seem a bit plain at first. @karna I consider Ocarina of Time the single best game to start with, it's the perfect introduction to the series. That said, most Zeldas have standalone stories, and the "official timeline" can be completely ignored without really losing much of value.

@karna Only BotW and TotK are open world, but I guess the first NES game is also non-linear enough to get that label nowadays. A game like Ocarina of Time still gives you a fair bit of freedom tho, you can do a lot of things "out of order" if you want to.

@karna Yeah, I think the Xenoblade formula (linear, story-driven design, but enormous worlds that you're largely free to explore at your leisure) is objectively superior to a pure open world approach.The traditional Zelda formula was also better than the open world approach, unfortunately the open world games sold way, way more.

And sometimes 2d is just what a man wants.That being said, OoT probably is the best point to get into the series considering it was designed for just that.
