@kaia the amount of loud gypsies with speakers i saw in major cities and towns differs anecdotally from this chart. though maybe thats a summer-only thing and they crawl into their hidey-holes for the other 3 seasons (overall though, quite quiet compared to t. estonian town liver in near-total silence right now if i went outside right now and started chopping wood it would be the loudest thing around me in the city

@kaia Can only imagine how horrible Luxemburg is: I'm living area that I would assume is less than the Finnish median, and I still want to tear my hair out now and again.(This should be a bigger public interest. Instead, even "tuned" motorcycles waking up the whole street during night-time is seen as acceptable.)

@piggo @iju it depends. there are small villages, but the vast majority of people lives in one urban city. so it makes sense that if you have no participants who live elsewhere, you get skewed results. as a country it's quite pretty.

Part of the house was really old, especially the wall in living room. 85 000 euros. Sold for about 5000 dollars more. Bought an even better place the same village. Or I joined the money with my mother and we built a house in same village right next to natural park, lining up with the mountains. From the ground up. State of the art isolation in the walls, new structures. Electric system, piping, big garden. Special exclusive stone in garden, new kitchen, state of art. Everything built from ground up. A outhouse. With an extra bedroom and bathroom. Full of old trees, stairs going up to the natural park. 300 square meters, 3220 square feet property, so a really big garden. 80 square meters actual house. Which is nearly 900 square feet. Excluding the second outhouse which has its own bathroom and bedroom, living room. Everything new, overlooking the entire village for 130 000 dollars. 152 000 thousand dollars. Take into account the property itself of 3000 square meters (3220 square feet) filled with trees and lining up against mountain was just 30 000 euros. 35 000 dollars. @nerthos @kaia all kinds of cat has made friends with us and come and hang around when we are there, we call them names, one is called tractor (because he has a weird sound he makes because of some throat issue he was born with) that’s the toughest cat I seen, tractor 🚜 dominates every cat there. One is called vampire, because he is completely black and you only see white teeth, one is called the Russian, don’t know, he was the most noble ( he sadly passed away, too good to fight and too noble) this one is called just “la Blanca “
