@futurebird I refuse to learn how to spell rhythm correctly. The machine has to do it every time. That's not how y's work.

@futurebird what makes me angry are the taxonomic names that latinize words in different ways. For example, "deino-" versus "dino-". It's terrible!

@futurebird warranty. I always want to spell it with two ee's rather than a y. And maybe some extra n's or t's. And there is no good synonym!

@futurebird I cannot spell aesthetic to save my life. If I'm LUCKY I get it close enough for a spell check to get it.But I'm angry because it's a really useful word and it just does NOT click in my brain and is an EVIL WORD

@futurebird I do not know why I have such a terrible time with "relevant" and always have. That 'a' wants so badly to be another 'e'!

Not really. I've always had a second pronunciation for many words tucked away in my head: pronounced as if every letter in the word had a logical sound. That's something that just comes naturally. On the other hand, I was 15 by the time I figured out how to add and subtract numbers containing more than one digit.@futurebird

@futurebird I'm a really good speller but double-consonants sometimes throw me. And words ending in '-ible' vs. '-able' sometimes. My favorite book is the dictionary, esp if it gives word roots
