@futurebird or when you walk out of your train, stroll across the platform straight into your connecting train and it leaves just as you sit down, like it was waiting only for you.

@futurebird I used to live in Astoria, Queens. The times when a train (R train) was waiting in the subway, was the best feeling in the world... Felt almost as if it was waiting for me...

@futurebird When I lived in the city my favorite game was to stand where I thought the door would be when the train stopped.It got to the point that I was so good at it that I became convinced that some of the conductors knew what I was doing and were just messing with me when I failed.
