Did you know there are internet communities where all they do is talk about Meghan Markle? (The woman who married Prince Harry of the UK a while back and then they went to Canada because presumably these people were too annoying.)I hope they are in the UK at least?

The communities are huge like 100k people and every news event is somehow tied back to Meghan and Harry somehow. IDK I feel like that is very odd.

I bumped into them because they are following the Epstein case due to Albert setting out of court with one of the victims. Which is one of a dozen reasons that issue draws more attention than anything else the sheer number of connections makes it very explosive as a story. This also kind of sucks for the victims.

@funkula I didn't dig that deep. It seems like there are a lot of on-going theories, strange in-group jargon and even intra- community "drama" between people who make videos and post about this stuff (can you imagine making a video about Meghan Markle every week for all this time? They never stopped? It's like finding a place where the flow of time is frozen!)They have "sides" and hate each other and are constantly fighting.

@futurebird I am a little familiar with this in a couple dimensions, my stepmom is a royal watcher and hates Meghan, I don't know if she does the online stuff. Probably, I know she's on tiktok and facebook so she's probably been algorithmically sucked down into that. The other one is the Guys podcast, one of the weird internet guys they check in with does clickbaity videos every single day and like half of them are about her
