       The problem with Curtis (IMO) is that he does not truly grapple with the problem of legitimation.He thinks if you have enough men with guns and the will to command them they'll just listen to you no matter what. To the extent Yarvin acknowledges the problems with this at all, he just says computers will solve it by cryptographically controlling all the guns (ignoring that people can build their own or just kill the leaders with things other than guns if they don't have enough armed men who are loyal to the leaders).He decries the psyop of democracy but neglects the historical formulation of throne-and-altar. Every monarchy was heavily invested in psyops.Whatever process is undermining democratic legitimation already undermined monarchic legitimation and would/will do so again over time. You can't fix the "mind virus" of liberalism by pretending it never existed.
