@MK2boogaloo @waifu 1. end your life 2. I've spent and will continue to spend years writing additional story around hollowknight. I just finished making god wyrms for animals outside of arthropoda. The only one I have to figure out still is crustaceans. Following the rules of three from the main game (Unn, Pale King, and Radiance), there are three wyrms within each ~phyla (sometimes its a group higher or lower because it gets complicated). Also, not all of the fathers/mothers of kinds are godlike, take herrah the beast and the hive queen for example.

@MK2boogaloo @waifu not all of them are wyrms explicitly. I still have to populate the kinds of higher beings, like the white lady being a literal root and such. you're right though, I should be saying "higher beings" instead of "wyrms". they're not synonymous.

@MK2boogaloo @waifu well there's no central "father" and "mother" besides the lich king (masculine) and the universe (feminine) in my world. It takes from Terry Pratchetts idea (one that is obviously also explored in Hollow Knight) that Gods just duke it out in their higher realm, and they can lose power by not appealing to / keeping the loyalty of their masses.
