A post-setup stroll around Portsoy a little while ago. Here's their wonderful dolphin artwork.I'll have to be careful what I say about this area, as it's the cultural home of @Jkp of this parish. And @justine isn't far away? Fit like, ye twa?

The new harbour at Portsoy, very much a working one. What is it that's so attractive about harbours?

Two views of the stonework on the old harbour at Portsoy, dating back to the 16th century. Astounding vertical construction of the stones, but for some reason, and it's bound to be a good one, some sections have horizontal stonework.

This boat caught my attention in Portsoy harbour as it looks to have classically Scottish working boat lines. Two wells, covered no doubt against seagulls and a mast that can be easily lowered.

A peek into the Old Harbour at Portsoy, with the old fish processing sheds. This view may not have been much different 200 or 400 years ago

Today's prize for the most optimistic mast to propel a floating brick goes to the little hopeful little tub
