Oh noes, "AI" not well? So sad.https://gizmodo.com/the-ai-report-thats-spooking-wall-street-2000645518Lol, the language in there.... gizmodo are just shit these days. "it's not teh AIs's, it's the users what don't know how to use teh AIs's".What's interesting is that gizmodo, or maybe just that one author, assumes that "tech" companies are no more than financialization vehicles, with that talk about "well buying and making your own tools (works poorly)", as if the point of technological corporations wasn't to umm actually make, technological stuff. It just comes "from money".Until it doesn't!This is gonna be ugly I suspect. Altman and those folk I assume (?) saw this coming and have cash in the trunk of a car or something ready to speed away. Or maybe they are true believers? Nahh. Then the sprawling trees of supporters, fans, media corps, agencies, support businesses, ... all of the cheerleaders we already can't/don't trust... many will be failing or looking for the exits. Cascade failures.

@tomjennings i'm always amazed at the lucy/charlie brown football dynamic that has been around since at least the y2k days in big tech. there's always some miracle money promise waiting around the corner that investors are just drooling to throw money at. ten years ago it was VR which crumbled apart and disappeared.
