@gert@social.coop Nothing, the #USA is a good vassal state and will veto any sanction the #UN might want to place on #Israel. They've been doing it for decades, after all.

@gert@social.coop Definitely not, the whole idea of a democratic system falls apart when you give anyone the power to overturn the results of a vote. None of the countries that got veto powers will ever relinquish it willingly either, so this issue will never be solved. As such, #Israel will be allowed to do whatever crimes it wants, forever, and will suffer no serious (official) repercussions for it.

@gert@social.coop I feel like it has already died, it clearly failed to prevent the exact situation it was created for, its court has no effect to stop or even slightly inconvenience crimes against humanity. There's just a rotting corpse that people pretend is still alive.
