Due to my love of gadgets and my love of the calming simplicity of the process making tea this fills me with deeply conflicting emotions that I wanted to share. It's so wrong and so intriguing. (It's probably good for people who run a cafe I guess.)

@futurebird lol, boy I feel your reaction. I have a matcha every morning (I can’t stomach coffee or black teas anymore -please shed a tear for me). I’ve gotten to where I really like the low-key ritualism of making the matcha. It’s a meditative start to the day. This doesn’t feel meditative, and seems like it would be really messy?

@futurebird It takes but a moment to whisk a serving of matcha in an ochawan or other vessel. That thing would kill that tiny moment of beauty for me. いらないもの / unnecessary thing。
