Wiggling my mouse around in a completely empty part of an MS Teams meeting window at least triples the CPU usage of the Teams process.Do we have proof that software bloat isn't a backroom deal with hardware makers to artificially increase consumption? Because I'm still mostly looking at text and images on screens that have maybe quadrupled in the number of pixels in the last decade and every computer made today should be utterly bored of the pitiful workloads we give them.

@timixretroplays the last time I've seen that kind of cpu-responding-to-mouse-movement was using a USB mouse on a windows 98 system with a Pentium 1 MMX. How did they waste that much cpu on MOUSE MOVEMENT?
