0/350 Need help paying a ticket before SeptemberAround this time last year, I was unemployed due to severe neurodivergent burnout. I found a part-time job to be able to help pay the basic necessities. Even then, I was still struggling with rent and bills, and in the chaos, my car registration was forgotten about, until about a few weeks ago. Cop pulled me over, and informed me that my registration was expired since last year. (I managed to scrape together the funds to renew it for this year.)Now, I have a $325 ticket to pay before September. As it stands, because I'm supporting myself and my partner - and because my next paycheck is going to get a huge chunk eaten by insurance - I cannot pay this on my own.I've done what I could in the meantime to scrap together a seasonal employment opportunity, to earn some extra money, but even if I did get that job: I wouldn't be paid in time to take care of the ticket.If I can't pay this ticket, then late fees are going to stack up. 0/350 I still have made zero progress towards this. I have 14 days to get this ticket paid off, and am unable to do it myself. 0/350 10 DAYS left to pay off a ticket!!See above posts for more detail: essentially, I've been slapped with a traffic ticket for an expired registration that I was unable to - then forgot to - renew.I rely on my car to provide for myself, as well as my girlfriend, who is unable to do so. Unpaid tickets can escalate to late fees, wage garnishments, and even taking away my vehicle. Again: I rely on it to make ends meet.My rent is coming up on the next paycheck, and combined with an automatic credit payment: I will not be able to pay this on my own - we're barely going to be able to meet our basic needs in that time as is.
