@hj Hehe, I'm jealous of what this author did: go into full blood representation without hesitation. Here, I decided to make the blood on the armour of the young knight almost not visible, to avoid shocking the audience with problem at sight of blood and keep the strip for all audience. That was a thin line to walk on ๐

@seabass Yes! All the fields are totally translatable in the SVG layer for text https://www.peppercarrot.com/0_sources/miniFantasyTheater/lang/en/015.svg (that was a pain to do with text effects ). It's not really a large field, language like "Occitan Lengadocian", or "Bahasa Indonesia" will problably find that challenging ๐

@davidrevoy That's so wrong. That's funny. Reminds me of a film called Last Action Hero. Near the end, Arnold's character was bleeding a lot. Once he was able to return to his fantasy movie world, the loss of blood turned to a flesh wound and a minor scratch.

@davidrevoy I really like the way this breaks the 4th wall 'in reverse' by pulling the 'outside' world into the fantasy ๐ As well as the games folks have mentioned that require the player to adjust settings as part of the gameplay, I think Sierra Online had a couple where an in-game character 'reached out' and adjusted the game options at some point to effect a cut-scene or similar... it's been a while!

@davidrevoy @Quantensalat it is absolutely and stunningly brilliant and a wonderful read. But I have to warn you, having done it myself, that if you start at the beginning at the very frame number one, you will enjoy yourself greatly, but you will lose about two and a half months of your life. And the time jumps are a little.....frustrating... Yeah, that.
