I'm always interested in insect conservation. In the US we have xerces.org the Entomological Association of America is a professional service org not so much conservation, though I'd expect them to be sympathetic to those goals. If you are in France you should check OPIE out (Office for Protection of Insects and Etymology) though I can't tell if it's a government organization or a non-profit?https://www.insectes.org/content/category/2-association

@futurebird Here in the UK we have a charity dedicated to invertebrate conservation, and of course insects are a big part of what they do.https://www.buglife.org.uk/

@statsguy xerces is also for invertebrates so clam fans can take note of that. Naturally I think that every country should have something like an "Office of Ants" but, this is just work for the future.

@futurebird I am sorry to report that there is no "Office of Ants" in the UK.Though we do have the "Joint Nature Conservation Committee", which at least has a picture of some bees on their home page, so that's something, I guess.https://jncc.gov.uk/

@futurebirdFrom wikipedia, it seems it's an "association" which affiliated by the INRA (which depends on ministry of environement). So not a governmental organisation but a non profit group which is supported.
