I read the book this came from (Everything Was Forever, Until It Was No More by Alexei Yurchak) and it doesn't directly address this, but I'd wager anything that glorified a bourgeoisie lifestyle was tagged as fascist.Another hilarious point the book makes is that by explicitly denouncing these acts, all other Western music was implicitly endorsed...CC: @historyofpunkrock@sfba.social
