       Watched the DEVO doc on Netflix. Early years are handled well, as there’s much to show/tell. Their synch with MTV also. But it puts their relationship with Warners as ‘all suits are stupid’, without seeing that music changed around them. When dropped they fell apart instead of regaining their underground tactics. The later years/albums are ignored - even though this is exactly when a band can return to relevance. By the end they have none of their beginnings. #music #documentary

       @lardmotel we found them entertaining live over ten years ago, but then it became obvious that they do a Kraftwerk and perform the same set every bloody time. I don't get it, when Mark M is pretty creative in his own work...I would hope the rest of the band would follow suit (no pun intended) and as a whole, they'd make an effort to diversify live.
