I wonder for how many people Battlefield 6 was the first reason they've ever had to open up the UEFI, I had my non-techy friends complaining to me about having to work out how to enable secure boot

@BrodieOnLinuxSame story. My friend enabled secure boot and the whole amd system stopped booting due to cpu error led on. I spend 3 hrs with it and ended up replacing motherboard :D

@BrodieOnLinux based on how many people landed on content on our site relating to it, I'd say a crap ton

@BrodieOnLinux did you try it on a dual boot system? I'm surprised I didn't hear about it in Linux news. My mobo has "windows" and "other os" secure boot so if I dual boot I have to change that in the bios every time. It complains that my boot files have been tampered with every time I boot windows with it enabled but I just press okay and bf6 worked fine. Clearly doesn't prevent hackers from doing anything.Secureboot was built for PC owners to verify their boot, total misuse of the tech.

@BrodieOnLinux I resurrected my old desktop, bought a new GPU, turned ON secure boot for the first time ever and reinstalled Windows for it...
