finally managed to pester my mom enough to get me those KO sleeping pills, should be active in a bit.my parents are trying to stop me from going to Church, i think they are starting to realize that i have long made my decision.reading the Quran makes me believe in Christ even more, it's full of purpose, but my parents don't see it that way, they think i got manipulated or have been taken away from them, i understand how they feel, but despite it i want to and have to keep going, Truth is not interchangeable.

The quran acknowledges the Holy Trinity. Even the devil cannot deny and lie about the Holy Trinity. However muslims interpret it differently of course.

@IlDuWuce as far as i have seen, multiple Verses in the Quran states the opposite.Christ is not the Son of God, he is just human.The Holy Spirit exists, but it's not God, instead it's Gabriel, who exists to message prophets, Gabriel does not talk to non-prophets.not to mention the most important in verses, of course, it comes from a very big misunderstanding, there is only one God in Christianity, but Muslims believe that Christians practice polytheism.

@IlDuWuce it's very explicitly said so, many parts of the book have verses where people ask Jesus if he is God, which he replies with no.

In the Surah Maryam, if I recall correctly, Allah breathes "his spirit" into Maryam to make her pregnant. Because this spirit is part of God it should be uncreated yet it's distinct, and therefore it's either a different aspect of God or Allah is created. Look up Sam Shamoun he does a lot of this

@IlDuWuce yeah which is what i always bring up whenever i discuss it."who is the father of Jesus then?"the answer being that God is the Creator, but not the Father (which means they do a big separation between Father and Creator, where Father is closer as an origin for where Genes/Memes are inherited)the Quran is inconsistent because it is not scripture, it is tampered by a human without God having anything to do with it, God had no hand in making it, it's inconsistencies are examples of it's inauthenticity, while the "inconsistencies" of the Bible can be explained, and often end up making more sense, the Quran is Explicit in what it says, and interpretation is heavily controlled.to many muslims i spoke with, the Quran, even when it specifically contradicts itself, is still valid.any Implicit Statement is verified false by an Explicit Statement, whereas inconsistencies in the text of the Bible are explained by proper Contextualization, the ones in the quran are explained by "it says here the opposite actually, even when previously implied, don't think about it" (even worse, when explicitly told).The staggering consistency of the Bible is what got me to convert, me trying to refute it for the sake of my own certainty is what got me to convert, because even when i didn't really want to believe, i ended up believing, the Quran is filed with a thousand inconsistencies, never explained.

@IlDuWuce well, there are days that are bad, days that are good, but some days are outright Blessed, i told my Father i am getting baptized, in front of an imam too, i had literally no fear or worries.Praise the Lord, he heard my prayers and gave me immense Strength, they honestly looked at me like i was a madman, but if i was certain of one thing, it's that Christ is Lord, the Son of God, and even if they don't believe me, they came to realize how serious i am.
