       I am begging people to understand that their belief that climate change can somehow be mitigated by individual action is literally an op to flood the climate activism zone with shit and create sectarian division between people who should be allies.Interrogate your beliefs; if they are focused mostly on individualist ethos you need to evict the neoliberal consultants who live rent-free in your mind.

       Every day I read posts by extremely well-meaning and well-educated people that are *premised* on the idea that individual change can mitigate climate change.But culturally and practically this is the highest, hardest to reach fruit! Telling people already suffering in a capitalist hellscape that they must, immediately, make their lives materially harder, or *everyone will die*, is not an argument.It's pissing off a windy cliff and getting sprayed in the face.Go for the easy shit first.

       @johnzajac @N33R In theory individual action in taking out corposcum assets /might/ work (especially with copycats).Most certainly peaceful individual action will not work.Of course they're pushing the ineffective kind and nevermind collective action of any sort.
