       I have to say, I was feeling pretty damn down lately with all the awful stuff going on. But going to our city's #nokings #protest and then following along with other cities' protests on #mastodon afterward has been the best therapy i could have hoped for.        @lackattack I think this is very important. It's easy to look at protest only through the lens of political impact but it's also about building communities and helping people to feel more brave and less alone. That way when you are asked to comply in advance it's less scary to say "no"
