@animegothicgirl88 @judgedread They are a nomadic kind of pajeet that got here (Europe) way ahead of the rest. They ultimately come from the Indian subcontinent or thereabouts, but the ethnonyms they historically used for themselves were all made up to mislead: "gypsy" derives from Egypt, "roma(ny)" derives from Romania, "tsigani" derives from some undesirable sect ("untouchables") the Byzantines had to deal with, and in France they tried to pass themselves off as Bohemians (Czechs). They're "crypto-jeets", if you will.
