@noyoushutthefuckupdad gantz was good but i remember being really annoyed and disappointed by the ending. this was like a decade ago, so maybe i would feel differently on another read through (with better scans and translations than the crappy releases I could find back in 2013).

@tomey I just reread it recently. while Gantz has some problems with bad pacing and jumbled story arcs, overall it's a great experience and I enjoyed it quite a lot. Gantz will stick inside my brain for the rest of my life.the """god""" aliens were full of shit, though. fuck em and their gay & wrong philosophy.

@EvolLove around 2008 I read up to the current chapter, but the pacing was too slow and I knew I would hate waiting for weekly chapters, so I waited until the manga ended and binge-read it.intense is the right word for it. despite its flaws, Gantz is one hell of a roller coaster ride.also, tits.

@noyoushutthefuckupdad ive not been able to get into that one. Ive done the first few chapters / episodes a few times but it doesnt grab me for some reason. Maybe the characters are too dull.

@tomey it gets worse. the first few chapters of AoT are the best part. it's a horror series at first, not the edgy shounen it would become.the author's art gets better, though. or maybe he got eich enough to hire better assistants.
