       @Escoffier @Suzu They are and have been trying hard all this year...The amount of DDoS attacks against individual forum etc to try and push cloudflare packet inspection and force users over to big tech platforms is massive.Just because it hasn't happened like turning off a lightbulb doesn't mean that it's not work in progress.

       @judgedread @Escoffier The internet started as DARPAnet.  The DoD's premier R&D organization, DARPA, created it back in the late 60's and was used to network the Ivy League schools together.  Coincidentally, the Ivy League was and still is the primary recruitment tool of the CIA.

       @RegalBeagle When Al Gore legalized the commercial internet he did so at the request of corporate America which wanted to exploit the vast cost savings of electronic advertising, particularly in mail order. Not to mention customer support.That it would connect every right leaning White man to a vast literature of race realism, evolutionary psychology and jew critical history was unimaginable to the midwits in charge of meme control at the time.
