@karmalakas I think you get digital sovereignty wrong, bet regardless that you're right - as the current government is no more, it can't raise those numbers ;)

@ipa only one man resigned and still he stays in Seimas, so I'm pretty sure he'll still have a word stronger than current prime

@karmalakas 1. not one man, but a whole government. 2. seimas is not a government.Regardless that, maybe I miss something while on travel, could you please disclose how that government limited the digital sovereignty?

@ipa @karmalakas Seimas is a branch of government. It passes the laws. And the problem with current parliament is they are highly corrupt, and U.S. corporations know how to access corrupt politicians.

@kroitus @karmalakas feel free to double check. Parlament is NOT a government, neither a part of it. Regarding the corruption, could be, but I still would be grateful for a fact proving the statements, to make me support that. Assumptions based on assumptions do not sound as a strong argument :)

@ipa @karmalakas Depends on what we call "government". If it's only "Vyriausybė", then yes - parliament is not part of it. If it's "valdžia", then yes. And in some ways most important - they pass or vetoes laws.About corruption - current events proved, that situation is bad. Nearly everyone have done shady stuff. And about M$ playing its part. Nearly every system in registry centre runs on windows. Or what happens in schools...

@kroitus @karmalakas looks we're walking in loops. A parliament is a legistlative part of the political system. It does not govern.Current events proved (or better reminded), that business people make unethical decisions. It's not a new for anyone in the field. And "nearly everyone have done shady stuff" looks to confirm that. Nevertheless, if you give an example of registry or schools, could you tell what "current government" or this parliament did to make the situation worse?

@kroitus @karmalakas to be clear. I'm not a supporter for the "current government", but prefer not to be manipulated with headline conspiracies, or make following assumptions based on that.

@ipa @karmalakas I prefer to think, that if law enforcement is getting involved, it's not conspiracy anymore.

@kroitus @karmalakas I may miss something, but see only investigation, and haven't heard about any law enforcements so far. Moreover i haven't seen any cases related to the government actions. These manipulations are exactly how conspiracy theories and smear campaign works. Shifting the focus, seed mistrust, and destabilize the structure. Same as Trump does with his "democracts are criminals" rhetoric. While, it doesn't mean they are holy Christians, I hope you get the point.

@ipa Well... What trump is doing, is obviously targeted at political opposition. Journalists in Lithuania are targeting everyone. Actually this popular "they don't touch conservatives" rhetoric is misleading.About law enforcement. FNTT at Paluckas sister-in-law company. Sabutis - special witness in "čekiukai" case. I can't name them all. But there are more.

@kroitus Regarding journalists. Unfortunately as you know Cerniauskas is not a person who fit the standards of those. He's just a new Janutiene.Or the same Hegseth, Carlson and Leawitt in global terms. Still monitor Tapinas closely, but see too often a misleading (or intentionally slanted information) I can trust him blindly nowadays
