@ascentale @InkySchwartz @bikenite I'm sure that hills put many people off cycling. In UK it is not uncommon to hear that we'll never have the same cycling culture as the Netherlands because the country isn't so flat. But for many cyclists who cycle for fitness as well as leisure, hills are a boon. Seek hills out, and get fitter!e-bikes will doubtless start to reduce the fear of hills for those who are yet to start cycling.

@ascentale @InkySchwartz @bikenite On hills: is there anything more satisfying as a cyclist than seeing another bike up ahead of you, and overtaking them half way up a hill?

@drgeraint It would be if I was riding acoustic rather then electric. But that has never happened. The only way I pass people on a hill is if I have more assistance than they are using. @ascentale @InkySchwartz @bikenite

@drgeraint From my n=1 perspective, e-bikes have made cycling once more accessible to me! Very happy about it.
