       @m0xEE Normal day in my old Sempron's life, that was. (That CPU might still work. The laptop it was in died and got thrown away. I recently got another at a flea market, nostalgically. It's a sack of crap, but hey, it was my first sack of crap and that counts.)

       @ozzelot@mstdn.socialThe computer overall is pretty quiet when mostly idle — it's the machine I use to watch videos falling asleep, but its CPU — yeah… 😩 It's one of those early quad core i7 CPUs, second generation I think. Under load the power it draws from the adapter isn't enough and it starts draining the battery 🫠Exceptionally bad, not surprising Apple started seeking ways to switch to ARM TBH 🤭
