Playing Final Fantasy 7 again (the original of course, fuck the remake).The amount of story, emotion and character they got out of a PS1 is amazing.The sheer flexibility of the gameplay mechanics and how many different kinds of builds you can have is incredible.It's still a fantastic game.

@Haikyoneko I guess so. I’ll have to figure some way to do that on my Steamdeck. It’s just weird that FFVII isn’t on Steam and I’d like to know why.

@Haikyoneko I played through this a few years back. OG Disks and everything. It sure looks like it was made for the Playstation. :KEKW: FF9 is the, objectively, better experience though. Glad I sat through 7 none the less.

@mrgrumpymonkey a better game technically maybe, but 7 is a better story/characters. Better battle system with materia too. 8 though...ugh.

@Haikyoneko Tried buying FFVII on Steam and GMG since I’m in Malaysia but still no dice. It’s available, but not to me. 😭
