I can no longer use my paypal to pay for commissions, I didn't even put any messages that would even hint that I'm paying for commissions I only use gifs and they still got me. Alrighty crypto people what can I use to pay artists and have a method that can't ban me? I still have cashapp but I'm scared to use it anymore since I use it for irl things.

@Puck_Fuller You were likely reported. This has happened to a few artists I know. Crypto is a mixed bag depending on where you live in the world. Typically people are using stable coins right now as they do not move around too much in value. USDT and USDC.My suggestion is first make sure you an find an exchange that you can sell USDT/USDC. Do not hold a balance, empty it out.Barring that, ETH is your next best bet. If this does in fact work out for you, invest in a cold wallet.

@Smolly_Poli Yes, you are correct. That means you do need to be specific with clients. Typically I tell people if you are new to crypto just stick with ETH or BTC, and then cash out. But for those who get it, then you can use tokens for transactions in places like Russia or Venezuela and the residences who live there will be very well informed on how to use them.

@Smolly_Poli BTC can be high if the network is busy. That is why I tell people use ETH instead of BTC for everyday transactions. However, if you wanna hang onto it for a while... BTC is just the default. But for example the fees for moving funds with ETH to a private wallet from another is usually 10-20 cents per 2K

@MariNao I hope that this helps this is crypto just letting you, a similar thing happened to my paypal not that long ago but this is just one option, there are other ways depending on the artist you commission, I know some use cashapp but a lot use paypal and it sucks that paypal can just nuke you out of the blue with no warning
