I keep thinking about the guys who drink entire cases of non-alcoholic beers. Why even quit alcohol at that point? Clearly they aren't alcoholics they are addicted to the literal act of drinking liquid in general

@phnt @sysrq I'm not posting my water stats since it would dox me but nobody drinks the tap water where I live. It makes you feel sick if you drink too much of it. I checked it online and it's positive for like 15 different carcinogens when they tested it a couple years ago

I know someone who said they genuinely developed a taste for non-alcoholic beer. Apparently they found a recipe with tomato juice that they said was really good.Me personally, when I turned 21 I went to a bar and ordered an alcohol free beer. Maybe they are also just drinking it to flex. "Look at all this stuff I'm drinking that COULD have alcohol but doesn't!"

@phnt @get @sysrq If they inject free chlorine into water it produces hypochlorous acid. But they could also use chloramines instead. Both can irritate a loot of bodily tissues, and water tastes like drinking from a floor polisher thing. Fluoride is reported having dental benefits, but you don't need to actually drink it, since your average toothpaste uses fluorine already. Also, tastes again like something weird, but depends on how much they put into it.
