The last time there is a whole lot of controversy around the dude "Pirate Software" aka Thor aka JasonFor years he presented himself like some sort of god in software / game development because he "worked at Blizzard" for yearsHe worked on a game for over 7 years now and on release it turned out to be a walking / talking simulator that was incredibly bad written in codeThe reason he worked at Blizzard for years is because his daddy is an exec there and no one dared to fire him

He didn't do much harm I guess but it's just so sad to see that again someone with a massive mouth gets so much attention while doing zer0 of the actual workThere are so many amazing indie games that will barely be downloaded because too much attention goes to scammers like Thor

@stux ahhh, yes, its time to discredit and bad jacket one of the main "stop killing games" people who has managed to attract a good amount of international attention to the cause, including an EU VP. Yeah I heard he's got some skeletons in his closet hah hah hah hah pwned right kids.

@stux aaah, can't escape this guy. He kept popping up with his shorts and now there are so many posts and videos about how he faked his things. I watched some videos where you could see his code and I was shocked how bad it is. I don't know the language he's working with, but as a software engineer, I think I can assume that the language he's using isn't so restrictive that he has to develop like he jus learned his first hello world program.

@stux I have literally watched numerous videos of him campaigning for stop killing games, and I've listened to him talk about it at length on several streams recently, and I have no idea what you are saying.

@stux I watched enough of his streams to know that he lifted up a number of indie game creators, I donāt buy that heās *only* a scammer. He was a popular streamer because he was good at streaming, and yeah he is rather full of himself but people are treating him like he is evil incarnate.I never would have gotten started with the game I am currently working on if it wasnāt for him talking about the importance of ājust getting startedā, so for that Iām grateful

@stux I don't know what that is, but I've seen 3 or 4 interviews with Thor/Jason, im not confused about who he is at all, and I appreciate the efforts he has put into stop killing games? You keep saying things, but these things don't jive with the interviews he has given.Is the gaming industry THAT passed at him?? Time to accuse him of sex crimes, too?? Wow.

@stux at the beginning he was acting a grade A prick, but Iāve since heard about the horrible things the internet hate machine has sent to his house, so now I just feel sorry for him. He had a āhappy little treesā āletās make some gamesā Bob Ross thing going on for a while (with a side of incredible arrogance, yes) but now people flood his streams with terrible bullshit and āgo kill yourselfā memes. Sad. I want the community back.
