Still stuck on this...I have to say that Media illiteracy really helped drive Ozzy's career.Consider all those "evil" songs, like Black Sabbath. Here is a horror movie in sonic form all about dying, and facing judgement before Satan.Look, I dunno, but seems like a pretty Christian rock song by any definition... but because the fundamentalists couldn't deal with even a mention of the devil, he is Satan's spawn.THEN... all the rebellious kids were drawn to it as anti-authoritarianism.

Like... way to miss the message and really show yourself to be dumb, AND give the satan kids a subculture... and then everything with metal changed, because suddenly, they had a schtick... and a good one.but that Prince of Darkness sure did preach a lot of peace and love.Which means of course they didn't like him... because those are radical concepts.We need more Ozzy's playing this game... shedding more light.

@thegibson War Pigs is literally just an acid rock anti-war hippie anthem. It's almost like fundies only care about surface level aesthetics rather than the deeper nature of "love and peace" their supposed messiah preached.
