       @dplattsf Has nothing to do with regulation, this is former military stuff stored.The wasps almost certainly found a water leak and used that water to make the nest.

       I’m no hot wasp expert but I kind of wonder if following them around for a few days before you bag them and tag would’ve been a smart move. At least a basic survey “Hi Ms Wasp, we’d like to ask a few questions about where you like to source  local radioactivity”
